3rik's collection of in motion photography seeks to show motion in a still-frame using the contrast from a stationary/fixed prospective. This contrast can be achieved by a variety of techniques. Some of the techniques used for these shots include (1) the use of a vacuum sealed suction pod for mounting a camera, and (2) 'mounting' a DSLR camera on the passenger seat in a car and securing the stationary prospective by lowering the seat's headrest until the camera is securely mounted.
